A teatowel post!

Because I encountered this in a little factory shop - linen and rather Elf-appropriate, I felt!

Just thought I should reassure you all that I do live on! ;) As does Chuchi, though he is enormous now and trying to eat me out of house and home!

Earlier this week, I was informed that my little Aegnor had been hurt whilst out on patrol and was seriously injured! I have had an incredibly busy week, but came to visit the first opportunity I got. Luckily, he seems to be well on the mend, and we were able to chat lots, and discuss some exciting plans that should keep us both occupied.

It sounds as if Turgon is taking excellent care of him, for which I am glad. The Oreos seem to have helped too.

At risk of sounding like Ingo, however, I do wonder if maybe Aegnor needs some more wholesome magazines to read...

Talking about Mari

My little Ingo popped round to discuss some concerns. It seems Mari has been acting a little strangely. I suspect it is simply a combination of pregnancy and chocolate cravings, so I sent her some chocolate and suggested we all go on a nice, friendly trip in the hope that it might open up some communication between her and Ingo and diffuse some of the tension.

Poor Ingo. He loves her very much. I think he tries too hard to protect her from the outside world, though.

In which Ingo worries, Finarfin suggests an excursion and Mari may be up to something.Collapse )

Guess who I found!!

I am supposed to be keeping it quite low key, because of potential...conflicts. But rumour reached me that someone very exciting has come to Middle-earth, so naturally I got a big bunch of chrysanthemums and dropped round at the earliest opportunity.

It is wonderful! Our family grows larger and happier by the day!

Correspondance with Ingo

Ingo sent me a letter. So I sent one back, on my best writing paper. And so it went on. In any case, it has given me some new plans. That boy does have some marvellous ideas. So a change of scenery may be in order!

The Tea Party!

How delightful! My little Ingo and Mari decided to hold a tea party and very generously invited lots of us. It was marvellous, and that puzzle is magnificent! I hope I have time to go around and finish it off.

Thank you, both of you, for hosting all the fun and games. I hope we did not make too much trouble!

(The Tea Party) (Outside link - too large to post on LJ so it's uploaded to Finarfin's webpage as a plain HTML.)

To show my gratitude, I am sending round this little present. I meant to bring it on the day of the party, but I was running late and a bit flustered and it slipped my mind completely! I am sorry, little ones!

An unexpected visitor

And who called shortly after Voronwe left, but my little Ingo. He seemed rather upset...I do hope he is getting worked up over nothing.

Finrod seems rather outraged and worried.Collapse )

Celegorm, I would like to pay you a visit sometime. I am more than happy to hear you out and listen to your side of the story - I just would like to know what took place.

Voronwë

Voronwë chanced upon my talan today, so I invited him in for tea and cake. He is lovely - I liked him right away. Well brought up, very polite. The kind of Elf you encourage your daughter to take to dances and so on. (No offence to my dear little Galadriel, who has done perfectly well for herself too, of course!)

Curufin, I hope you do not intend to get him into any more trouble! Perhaps you should let him set an example for you, of how to behave respectably!

Oh, who am I trying to fool? Of course that is not going to happen. Well, try not to wreck any more cars, anyway.

So that was a nice meeting. I hope to see more of him. Perhaps I should take him to the café.

For some time, as many of you well know, I was getting the feeling that my talan was...sort of empty. I would get home from work with only the kettle and bed to greet me. It occurred to me that I ought to find someone to share my little life - several of my friends seem to have pets, and they are all such lovely animals. They seem to bring such warmth and life to a house.

So I read some books, did a bit of research and so on, and eventually came to a decision. And then, I went to visit Orophin, who I have heard is an expert in such matters.

I am endlessly grateful to him...he has managed to bring me a wonderful new family member. *is overjoyed*

Now, my talan feels so much more welcoming!

*is so appreciative* Thank you, my friend.
